A COOL MUSEUM

   Sunday, March 16th 2014, I visited one of museum in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. It was thefirst time I visited this place; Museum Transportasi. For entered the Museum, I had to pay Rp.2000; nevertheless, for who want to enter a plane also, You have to pay an extra Rp.3000. In this museum, I took some photos and histories of transportations.

At first, I visited ‘Anjungan Darat’. In this part, there were many land vehicles and its histories, such as ANDONG (Yogyakarta, 1990), this traditional transportation has 4 wheels and drown by a horse.

 
And then,there was a BEMO (Jepang, 1961), this 3 wheels vehicle was produced by Daihatsu and used as transportation when GANEFO was held.

There were many truck miniatures also, such as MINIATURE OF DAMRI’S TRUCK (USA, 1963),

 
many FIETS PADDLING BYCYCLE,

and the coolest transportation in this part was motorcycle, such as VESPA 125 CC (Italia, 1961), DKW HUMMEL (Jerman, 1951), ZUNDAPP GERMANY PADDLE (Jerman, 1963).

 
      After that, I visited ‘Anjungan Laut’. In this part, there were many miniatures of  marine vehicle, such as KAPAL NIEUW ZEELAND (Roterdam,1928-1942),


 


  PASSENGER SHIP,

 
 and there were many equipments, such as SPECTROGRAPHIC ANALYZER (use to measure  the composition of the elements on the material, such as the spectral lines of light and wave length),


DREDGER DRILLING KNIFE EQUIPMENT (used to cut the soil layer to be dredged),
 
 BUCKET DREDGER EQUIPMENT (used to remove sediment in the form of sand, coral, and other material from the base of the water),
 LINE AND ROPES.


 







   And finally, I visited ‘Anjungan Udara’. There were many cool plane miniatures that made me felt like I wanna took it to my home, haha.
 



   In summary, I learned a lot about transportations from this museum. Actually, there were many transportations in this museum; but, I only got a few photos. This museum unlike most museums that look old, because this museum have had many cool collections of  transportations and miniatures. You have to visit this museum!
